Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. broadcasts digital-quality audio from three orbiting satellites throughout the continental United States. The Company delivers 60 streams of 100% commercial-free music in virtually every genre and over 40 streams of news, sports, weather, talk, comedy, public radio and children's programming. Sirius' broad range of music, as well as its news, sports and entertainment programming, is not available on conventional radio in any market in the United States. The Company holds one of only two licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate a national satellite radio system. Its satellite radio system consists of its FCC license, satellite system, national broadcast studio, terrestrial repeater network and satellite telemetry, tracking and control facilities.
