eCom.com, inc.
“Notice the very low certificate number”.
eCom.com, Inc delivered image encoding technology that enabled real time Internet delivery of multi media and increases available storage space on computing platforms. The company's Dry Ice(TM) technology was a leader in image, text, video and data delivery. This product enabled computer users to transmit and view video files that have been compressed to previously unattainable sizes.
The company believed that would capitalize on the surging demand for higher quality video transmissions. For example, video phone technology, used by cable news broadcasts such as Fox Cable to transmit pictures from overseas, produces visibly jerky motions. DryIce(TM) video would have greatly improve the quality of the video phone transmission by eliminating the jerky motions and allowing the transmissions to be viewed in real time. In addition, this product utilized the same underlying technology which will be used to allow NASA to create a real time "virtual presence" of the right people, where they are needed, to conduct space shuttle nondestructive failure analysis. This technology was also the core to the planned space shuttle launch pad perimeter surveillance demonstration.
