This is an 1865 $5 Obsolete Banknote issued Jan. 2, 1865 by the Bank of New England at Goodspeed's Landing, East Haddam, CT, bearing Serial No. 20682 and graded 62 New by PCGS. The Date and Serial Number are beautifully handwritten. The Note is not signed as it is New. The Note has excellent eye-appeal. Nice clean fields and is quite scarce!
