Description: 1863 $0.50 The State of Alabama, Montgomery, Alabama, PCGS 61 New. This is Note No. f6544 issued January 1, 1863, by the State of Alabama to pay to the bearer the sum of Fifty Cents in Confederate States Treasury Notes when presented at the State Treasury in Montgomery, Alabama. The note is signed by the Governor of the State of Alabama.
This is a very nice Obsolete Note. Detailed black and blue ink lettering with designs and is quite scarce! The Note has excellent eye-appeal. This would be a unique addition to any collection.
