A nicely designed note by the American Bank Note Company which includes a picture of a distinguished gentleman, an attractive women in repose wearing a helmet with a spear and an elderly man showing a bust of George Washington to possibly a student. Beautifully detailed black ink on the obverse or front of the note with dark green colored backgrounds and light green ink lettering. Notice the beautifully handwritten date "28 Aug 1860" and twice hand numbered "271". The back of the note is also intricately designed in vibrant orange!
