i-Incubator.com, Inc. Stock Certificate - Scripophily
Item # 174 - Price $89.00
$4.95 Shipping
Notice the very low certificate number..!! I received the last certificates that were issued. In fact I did not even receive my full request. There were only about 500 of these issued and as you know most of them will never see the light of day..!! The value of these should increase faster since there are very few in circulation.!!.
I-Incubator.com, Inc. formerly Master Communications Corp., was incorporated on May 5, 1997 under the laws of the State of Florida. The Company's primary objective was to position itself as an internet incubator. Similar to other incubators, it intended to provide venture capital, technical expertise and marketing assistance to development stage companies. The Company's ticker symbol changed on December 7, 1999 to "INQU" to better reflect its name change and direction. Since its spin off of its assets in Jamuary 2001, the Company had been primarily dedicated to acquiring businesses either through acquisition or merger. Also I-INCUBATOR.COM, INC. developed two auction websites CarAuction and AntiqueAuction devoted entirely to automobiles, and related accessories. Both websites had limited activity. On November 11 the stockholders agreed to dissolve the Company and filed a certificate of dissolution.
The Dot.com Disaster..!!
Documents from short-lived Web companies are a contemporary commodity. With the introduction of the Internet, hundreds of start-up companies sold shares of their stock and millions of investors purchased these shares. But in the blink of an eye, many of these dot com companies went out of business. Importantly, most of the dot com shares were traded electronically and, thus, very few hard copy paper stock certificates were issued. Collectors of the limited number of issued certificate shares will have a rich return on their investment.
Additionally, a growing number of investors and collectors have expressed interest in obtaining the defunct shares as reminders of the roaring, heady days of the Internet bubble - and the mistakes made when it burst.
Therefore, these dot com certificates are in very limited in supply and have become a collector's dream. We invite you to experience a piece of Internet history. Its significance will most certainly continue to increase as the current generation X-ers come to realize the value of this part of history.
