Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 2003 Golden Jubilee of Coronation
At the height of the Coronation ceremony nearly fifty years ago, the Archbishop of Canterbury raised aloft the Crown of St Edward before placing it on the head of the new monarch - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
St Edward's Crown Design
This colourful 1oz silver coin celebrates The Queen's Golden Jubilee of Coronation with a stunning depiction of St Edward's Crown. Studded with hundreds of semi-precious stones, this famous Crown was made for the Coronation of King Charles II in 1661 - but probably incorporates elements that are centuries older.
Royal Blue Flag-Shaped Presentation Case
Each individual coin is housed in a royal blue, flag-shaped presentation case with the Union Jack printed on the outside of the lid, and accompanied by a serial-numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Royal Approval
With the design approved by Buckingham Palace, the majestic coin is legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. It is struck from 99.9% pure silver, in proof-like quality, and carries the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination of $1.00 on the obverse.
